Building the cloud and processing layer for functional diagnostic insight

NeuroAID develops key AI and cloud-processing components for the dAIgnostics method, a functional diagnostic approach based on living-cell responses to patient-derived IgG. The project focuses on dAIgnostics Processing and dAIgnostics Cloud, enabling calcium-response signals to be processed, analyzed and prepared for diagnostic-support reporting.

Challenge

Early neuroinflammatory disease mechanisms are difficult to detect using conventional diagnostics. To become scalable, the dAIgnostics method needs automated processing, reproducible AI analysis and a secure cloud environment.

Solution

NeuroAID supports an AI-powered cloud workflow for analyzing temporal calcium-response recordings: Patient-derived IgG → Calcium signal recording → Cloud upload → AI processing → Diagnostic-support insight. The project develops prototype components for processing recordings and metadata, extracting signal features and preparing structured outputs for expert interpretation.

NeuroAID supports the dAIgnostics Studio, dAIgnostics Cloud and dAIgnostics Processing layers by building cloud and AI-processing infrastructure for scalable, automated and reproducible diagnostic workflows.

Project description

The aim of the NeuroAID project is to develop and demonstrate key components for cloud-based AI processing required for the method of early diagnosis of neuroinflammatory diseases.

Expected project result

The expected result of the project is the demonstration of the technical feasibility of the solution, raising the technology readiness level and creating a foundation for further development, intellectual property protection and commercialization of the innovative diagnostic method.
